About Us

Gordon Gunnarsen – Clinical Lead

I am a Psychotherapist and Group Analyst with over 15 years’ experience in the NHS of providing psychotherapy to people with a range of difficulties including people who present with high risk and people who have struggled to engage with treatment previously.

I have a lived experience of mental health difficulties in my childhood, adolescence and early adulthood which lead me to undergo intensive therapy and inspired me to train as a therapist.

I am currently Clinical Lead and Principal Psychotherapist for a NHS specialist Personality Service.

I am an Accredited MBT Practitioner trained at Anna Freud Centre and I am listed on The British Psychoanalytic Council (BPC) MBT Roster.

I receive (and provide) specialist supervision for my MBT and Mentalizing informed work, including quality assurance of sessions from the MBT Quality Lab.

I am registered with United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) as a Psychotherapist, Group Analyst and Supervisor.
